From the moment I stepped onto a stage in youth theater, I was hooked. Not just on performance, but on the architecture of narrative. I started seeing the world through arcs and turns, cause and effect, myth and meaning. The more I studied story—across books, scripts, visuals—the more I realized it wasn’t just a craft. It was a calling.
I’ve spent my creative life pursuing the kind of ideas that grow, pearl-like, from friction and refinement—shaping characters who feel real, moments that matter, and stories that leave a mark. I’m endlessly curious about what makes people tick and how the right story, told the right way, can change how we see everything.
Story made me braver, more present, more attuned to wonder. It’s given me a lens to live by—and a tool belt to build with. Whether I’m writing for the screen, shaping creative strategy, or dreaming up new worlds from scratch, I show up with a love for story and a belief that it can illuminate even the most ordinary of days.

About Me
MY NAME IS Jonathan, but you can call me “JC”
I have been writing professionally for the past seven years and have a bachelor’s degree in screenwriting from the Biola Film School in Southern California. I love all forms of storytelling, from the stage and screen to theme park experiences, but I have a soft spot for the ABC television show LOST and all things related to Disney Animation. My wife, Ashleymae, and I currently live in Van Nuys, CA. She’s way cuter than me.
